Customers: When you book a ride, we collect your name, email, phone number, pickup and dropoff addresses, and payment information (processed by Stripe).

Operators: When you create a workspace, we collect your email, password (hashed), workspace name, and optional business information like logo and phone number.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and manage ride bookings
To send booking confirmations and status updates via email and SMS
To process payments through Stripe
To provide operators with booking management tools
To improve the platform and fix issues

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these cases:

With operators: Your booking details are shared with the operator you book with so they can fulfill your ride.
With Stripe: Payment information is processed by Stripe under their privacy policy.
With service providers: We use Resend (email) and Twilio (SMS) to send notifications.
As required by law: We may disclose information if required by law or legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Passwords are hashed. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

5. Your Rights

You may:

Request a copy of your data
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of marketing communications
Update your account information through the dashboard

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use localStorage to save your theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
